Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Islamabad

Your adventure begins as you arrive in Islamabad, the vibrant capital city of Pakistan. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore local markets, visit historical sites, or unwind at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at a comfortable hotel.

Day 2Islamabad to Skardu/Chilas

After breakfast, catch a flight to Skardu, providing breathtaking views of the Karakoram Range. In case of flight unavailability, embark on a picturesque drive to Chilas via the Karakoram Highway. The journey offers glimpses of the stunning landscape. Arrive in Skardu or Chilas, check-in to your hotel, and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 3Explore Skardu or Drive to Skardu

Spend the day exploring Skardu’s local attractions. If you drove from Chilas, use this day for relaxation or explore Skardu’s charms.

Day 4Journey to Askole (3000m)

Embark on a thrilling jeep ride to Askole, a gateway village to some of the highest peaks in the Karakoram. The journey provides glimpses of mesmerizing landscapes. Arrive in Askole, set against a stunning backdrop, and prepare for the upcoming trek. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 5 - Day 11Trek to Broad Peak Base Camp

Commence the trek to the legendary Broad Peak Base Camp. Traverse through captivating landscapes, crossing rivers, and passing quaint villages. Each day brings new challenges and breathtaking views. Arrive at Broad Peak Base Camp, set up tents, and relish the unique atmosphere. Spend evenings under the starlit Karakoram sky.

Day 12 - Day 39Acclimatization and Climbing

Dedicate this period to acclimatization and climbing preparation. Ascend to higher camps, acclimating to the altitude. Climbing training sessions and team bonding activities will be scheduled. This phase is crucial for adjusting to the challenging conditions and ensuring a safe climb.

Day 40 - Day 44Trek Back to Hushe

Embark on the journey back to Hushe via the majestic Gondogoro La. This trek provides different perspectives of the landscape. Descend to Hushe, and if time permits, interact with the local community. Dinner and overnight stay in Hushe.

Day 45Return to Islamabad/Chilas

Fly back to Islamabad or drive to Chilas, depending on flight availability. Enjoy the last leg of your journey with reflections on the experiences gained. Arrive in Islamabad or Chilas, check-in to the hotel, and relax.

Day 46Leisure Day in Islamabad

A leisure day to explore more of Islamabad or rest after the trek. Visit Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh, or the Lok Virsa Museum. If you drove from Chilas, this day offers a chance to complete your road journey back to the capital.

Day 47Departure

Bid farewell to Pakistan as you transfer to the airport for your return flight home, carrying with you unforgettable memories of the majestic Broad Peak (8,051 meters or 26,414 feet) and the enchanting Karakoram Mountains.
