Your adventure begins with a night departure from Lahore at 10 PM, setting the stage for the exciting journey ahead.
Early morning pickup in Islamabad at 4 AM leads to a scenic drive along the Hazara Motorway, including the Abbottabad Tunnels. After a breakfast break in Besham, you’ll visit the picturesque Kohistan Waterfalls and the impressive Dassu Dam site. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Chilas.
Start your day with breakfast in Chilas before departing for Hunza. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Nanga Parbat View Point and the junction of the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindukush mountain ranges, as well as the convergence point of the Indus and Gilgit Rivers. An optional visit to Naltar Valley and a stop at the Rakaposhi View Point add to the day’s excitement. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Hunza.
After breakfast in Hunza, you’ll visit the stunning Attabad Lake, where you can enjoy boating and a photo session at the scenic Passu Cones. The day includes visits to the Husseni Suspension Bridge and Khunjrab (or as far as the vehicle can go). Return to Hunza for dinner and another night stay.
Begin the day with breakfast in Hunza, followed by visits to the historic Altit and Baltit Forts and the vibrant Karimabad Bazar. Later, you’ll move to Chilas for an overnight stay, either in Chilas or Besham Hotel.
Start the morning with breakfast before embarking on the return journey, enjoying sightseeing along the way. The trip concludes with a safe arrival back home, marking the end of our services with satisfied clients.
The best months to visit Hunza are typically from April to October. During these months, the weather is pleasant, and the roads are generally clear of snow, making travel easier. April and May are especially beautiful with cherry blossoms in full bloom, while September and October offer stunning autumn foliage. Summer months (June to August) are also popular due to the warm weather and longer daylight hours, which are ideal for trekking and other outdoor activities.
To fully experience Hunza and its surroundings, a trip of 5 to 7 days is recommended. This duration allows you to visit key attractions such as Karimabad, Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, and the picturesque villages of Gulmit and Passu. Additionally, you can take day trips to nearby places like Khunjerab Pass and Attabad Lake. If you have more time, you can extend your stay to explore the region further, including the beautiful valleys and trekking routes.
Both Skardu and Hunza are incredibly beautiful and offer unique landscapes and experiences. Hunza is renowned for its stunning mountain views, terraced fields, and historical forts. The lush green valleys, along with attractions like the Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar peaks, make it a favorite among travelers seeking picturesque scenery and cultural experiences.
Skardu, on the other hand, is famous for its rugged beauty, including towering mountains, crystal-clear lakes like Shangrila (Lower Kachura) and Upper Kachura, and the surreal Deosai Plains. It is also the gateway to some of the world’s highest peaks, including K2. Skardu offers more adventurous activities such as trekking, mountaineering, and exploring remote valleys.
Choosing between the two depends on your preferences: Hunza for its accessible beauty and cultural sites, or Skardu for its raw natural landscapes and adventure opportunities. Many travelers choose to visit both if time permits.
