Day 1Arrival in Islamabad

Day 2Fly to Gilgit or Drive to Chilas

Departure for Chilas early morning after breakfast via the Karakoram Highway (KKH) is an unforgettable experience that takes you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world especially when you are on Hazara motorway takes some eight hours. The drive from Islamabad to Chilas via the Karakoram Highway is not just a journey from one point to another; it’s an expedition through history, geography, culture, and natural wonders where caravan remain on move since ancient times. As you traverse this iconic route, you’ll be mesmerized by the majesty of the Karakoram Range and the warmth of the people who call this rugged terrain home. It’s an adventure that will leave an indelible mark on your soul, offering a glimpse into the untamed beauty of one of the world’s most spectacular landscapes.

Day 3 Drive to Hunza

The journey from Chilas to Hunza via the Karakoram Highway (KKH) is a six-hour breathtaking adventure through some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the world. Chilas, located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, you’ll immediately be greeted by towering peaks and the first one is Nangaparbat the ninth highest and with dramatic cliffs, characteristic of the Karakoram range. The Karakoram Highway follows the path of the mighty Indus River, one of the longest rivers in Asia. The highway begins its ascent towards the town of Jaglot and we stop for lunch at Gilgit, the capital of Gilgit-Baltistan. Take some time to explore the bustling bazaar and interact with the friendly locals, known for their hospitality. Continue northward, the scenery becomes increasingly spectacular as you enter the legendary Hunza Valley with towering peaks, including Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar, dominating the skyline. 

Day 4 & Day 5 Start Trek to Ultar Glacier

Early morning we will embark on the trekking in the picturesque Hunza Valley, known for its breathtaking scenery and hospitable people. We will camp for the first night at Ultar Meadow which is surrounded by terraced fields, lush forests, and traditional villages. On 5th day continue your trek towards Ultar Glacier, crossing rugged terrain and rocky slopes. As you approach the glacier, you’ll be surrounded by towering peaks and pristine wilderness. Camp near the glacier’s edge, where you can hear the rumble of melting ice and marvel at the sheer beauty of the landscape.

Day 6 – 1712 Days Reserved for Climbing

Dedicate a generous span of 12 days to the exhilarating pursuit of scaling the majestic Lady Finger Peak. Delve into the challenge of mastering this formidable ascent, immersing yourself in the thrill of overcoming each hurdle along the way. As you embark on this adventure, relish in the opportunity to absorb the breathtaking vistas that unfold before you. Day 18Treks Towards Ultar Glacier

Day 19Trek Move to Karimabad, Hunza

Day 20Free Day

Today is a leisurely day in Karimabad, where you can indulge in exploration and cultural immersion at your own pace. Begin by delving into the rich history of the region with visits to the ancient Altit Fort and Baltit Fort, marveling at their architectural grandeur and historical significance. Take leisurely strolls through the vibrant local markets, where you’ll discover a treasure trove of traditional handicrafts, vibrant textiles, and intricately designed artifacts crafted by local artisans. Day 21 Karimabad to Besham

Embark on a scenic journey from Karimabad to Besham via the renowned Karakoram Highway covering a distance of around 400 kilometers , a route renowned for its breathtaking vistas and diverse landscapes. Stop over at two places for viewing ancient Silk Road clinging to the mountain and observe a fault line depicting the Indian plate pushing Asian plate. Pause along the way to absorb the bustling atmosphere of Gilgit’s vibrant bazaars, where the fusion of cultures is palpable in the bustling activity and diverse array of goods on display. After a day of exploration, retreat to your accommodation in Chilas, where you’ll be treated to mesmerizing views of the majestic Indus River. Day 22Fly to Islamabad

After breakfast embark on a picturesque journey from Besham to Islamabad, traversing the scenic landscapes of Pakistan. As you depart from Besham, a town nestled along the banks of the mighty Indus River, prepare to be enchanted by the natural beauty that surrounds you. The road winds through the lush valleys of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, offering glimpses of terraced fields, quaint villages, and rugged mountains all along the Hazara Motorway. Transfer to hotel. In the evening you will be transferred to Islamabad International Airport for the flight home.
